Sources & citations

Eunomia is only as trustworthy as its sources. Our rule is simple: the official document is always the source of truth, and it is always linked.

Meeting summaries

Meeting overviews are generated from the municipality's own public materials (agendas, minutes, and recordings) and every summary links the original document. Summaries are a plain-language convenience, not the official record — where they differ from the source, the source governs.

Decisions

Every recorded decision (ordinance, resolution, or budget vote) must link an official source — an agenda item, minutes entry, or ordinance document. Entries without a verifiable source are not shown publicly.

Resident-submitted content

Concerns, comments, and support come from verified Mt. Lebanon residents. That input is clearly labeled as resident input — it is not presented as an official position, and official responses are shown separately and dated.

AI assistance

Some summaries and groupings are drafted with a language model, then shown alongside their source. AI is used to make public information easier to read, never to invent facts. If a summary looks wrong, use “Request a correction” on the page — see how corrections work on the corrections page.
