About Eunomia
Eunomia is an independent civic engagement platform for Mt. Lebanon, PA. It exists to keep a public, factual record of what residents raise, what officials say, what changes, and what still needs follow-up — a civic memory rather than a one-off complaint box.
What it does
- Lets verified residents submit concerns, support each other's issues, and see what rises to the top.
- Organizes issues by ward and category, and routes them toward the responsible body.
- Records the lifecycle of each issue: submitted, acknowledged, discussed at a meeting, responded to, resolved.
- Summarizes public meeting materials in plain language so residents can arrive prepared.
How it stays fair
The tone is deliberately neutral and administrative. Where an issue has had no official reply, the record simply notes that “no official response has been recorded yet” — a fact, not an accusation. See the methodology for exactly how residency is verified, how support is counted, how aggregates protect privacy, and how meeting summaries are generated.
Who operates & funds it
Eunomia is built and operated by base2ML, an independent software studio. It is nonpartisan and not affiliated with any candidate, party, or the municipal government.
Eunomia is currently a self-funded pilot, free to residents. It accepts no advertising and no funding from politically-interested parties. Any future grant or sponsor support will be disclosed here.
